Liverpool fans on Twitter have been discussing the fact that Adrian is reportedly keen on a move to Real Betis.
Indeed, Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldEdition shared a post on their page relaying news originally published by Estadio Deportivo that the shot-stopper is “keen on the chance to return to boyhood club Real Betis this summer for the opportunity for more regular game time” away from Anfield.
The Spaniard signed to the Merseyside club from fellow Premier League side West Ham United in the previous summer transfer window on a free transfer (per Transfermarkt). Without yet completing a full season at Anfield, Adrian has already won a Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Would you like to see Adrian stay or leave Liverpool this summer?
Stay
Leave
Of course, hearing that the Spaniard is keen on a move hasn’t gone down to well, especially after the same page relayed information that Betis were interested a day prior.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans reacting to the post:
Adrian is keen on the chance to return to boyhood club Real Betis this summer for the opportunity for more regular game time and Klopp is unlikely to stand in the goalkeeper’s way.
A move for a new number two at Anfield would then happen in the summer. [Estadio Deportivo] pic.twitter.com/maezqjhTFT

Be gutted to see him go, he’s embraced the Liverpool way & has been massively positive.
Would love him to stay but understand why he’d go.

What do we think?
It seems that these Liverpool fans are split on Adrian’s future at the club, with some hoping to see him stay and others not minding if he leaves or not. Winning two European trophies halfway through your first season is a good way to settle into the club. But should Adrian make the decision to leave in the summer, he would surely be a miss for the club after making 15 appearances for the club so far this season.
