Liverpool fans on Twitter have been suggesting that their club make a move for Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne.
This comes after Liverpool fan account @LFCTransferRoom shared a post on their Twitter page asking their followers which City player they would take at the Merseyside club.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Reds fans who claimed they would like to see De Bruyne at their club.
Would you take Kevin De Bruyne at Liverpool?
Yes
No
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans responding to the post:
Fan Opinion: Would you take any of these players & at what price? ?

Kevin De Bruyne is the only Manchester city player that would get into this Liverpool side. #FACT #MCFC #LFC

KDB would be a good Lallana replacement

For context, this post stems from an earlier one the Liverpool page posted relaying information originally published in a report by the Daily Mail that the Manchester club could potentially have to sell their star players for a financial reshuffle amidst their recent Champions League ban. Now that the question has been asked to Liverpool fans on Twitter, it appears as though a lot of them think City’s 28-year-old Belgian, who is currently valued at £135 million according to Transfermarkt, would be a good fit at Anfield.
If the chance arises any club in the world would take De Brunye.

What do we think?
Given how De Bruyne has been a standout performer for City during his time at the club, scoring 48 goals and providing 84 assists in 205 appearances, it comes as no surprise that so many Liverpool fans want him at their club. Whether this transfer will happen or not is yet to be seen, but with a record like De Bruyne’s, it would be hard to imagine any team in world football that wouldn’t want him in their squad.
