Despite a scare, Liverpool managed to collect another three points on Monday having beaten a spirited West Ham United side. Played under the lights at Anfield, the fixture between the runaway Premier League leaders and a team fighting for survival turned out to be a five-goal thriller.
Although the Reds saved themselves any embarrassment with a little help from Lukasz Fabianski in the West Ham goal, these supporters were extremely unhappy with the performance of the referee.
Should John Moss be demoted to the Championship?
Yes
Jonathan Moss took charge of the game and also refereed the reverse fixture at the London Stadium less than a month ago (via Transfermarkt.co.uk). Here is what some of the fans had to say regarding the 49-year-old’s performance.
You know an official was bad when they trend on twitter after ?? what’s more surprising than that? It’s both sets of fans that don’t like the job he did ?? he gave 2 goals kicks for 2 corners in a minute of each other… That’s John Moss ? #LFC

What do we think?
Moss has taken charge of 23 Liverpool fixtures in his career so far of which the Reds have won 14, drawn five and lost four. These fans clearly feel disappointed by the standard of officiating on display but given they managed to take all three points in the end, in our view, it’s not worth dwelling upon as Jurgen Klopp’s side took another step towards their first-ever Premier League title.
