The Englishman signed to the Merseyside club back in 2013 from fellow Premier League side Chelsea. During his six-year stint as a Liverpool player, Sturridge scored 68 goals and provided 26 assists in 160 appearances for the club (per Transfermarkt). However, Sturridge’s time at the club was plagued by numerous injuries that kept him out of action for a substantial amount of time. Now that this footage of Sturridge’s time at the club has resurfaced on Twitter, it has led to a lot of Liverpool fans replying with their thoughts on Sturridge’s career at Anfield.
2013/2014 brilliant! After this, hardly see him fit. Can be more then this without so many injuries.

What do we think?
It’s nice to see Liverpool fans sharing their fond memories of Sturridge during his time as a Red. Unfortunately due to his infamous injury issues throughout his tenure at Anfield, he never managed to consistently stay fit for most of his time at the club.
