What do we think?
If Liverpool can secure Werner’s services for next season and onwards, they would be signing a young and ready-made goalscorer. In this current season, Werner has managed to score 25 goals in 30 appearances for Leipzig in all competitions (per Transfermarkt). According to WhoScored, Werner’s strengths include keeping hold of the ball and making key passes. This will be very useful in Jurgen Klopp’s team whose style of play includes possession football and controlling the game in the opponents half (per WhoScored).
