Liverpool fans have flocked to Twitter to share their praise for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain after his display against West Ham United on Monday.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @empireofthekop shared a post on their page claiming that the Englishman was “class” when he came on to the pitch and should have started the game.

The 26-year-old replaced fellow midfielder Naby Keita in the 57th minute of the match. Oxlade-Chamberlain’s efforts in the second half of the match earned him a match rating of 6.7 according to WhoScored. The midfielder also managed to finish the match with a pass success percentage of 89%. Despite his match rating, the Englishman’s performance caught the attention of a lot of Liverpool fans who after the match took the time to tweet out their praise for the midfielder.

What do we think?
It’s good for Jurgen Klopp to have someone like Oxlade-Chamberlain available to come into a match and put in a good performance during his time on the pitch. Now that Jordan Henderson is likely to miss the next couple of weeks out injured, Oxlade-Chamberlain may be called into action more often.
