Philippe Coutinho left Liverpool to join Barcelona in January 2018 in a huge deal worth a reported £130.5m (via Transfermarkt.co.uk). At the time, Coutinho was arguably one of the club’s most important players having directly contributed to 99 goals in 201 appearances for the Anfield giants.
However, since his sale, the club has reinvested wisely and have gone on to reach incredible heights having won the Champions League last season and narrowly missing out on the Premier League title. The Brazilian’s move to the Catalan club hasn’t worked out as he would have liked and in August 2019 he was sent out on loan to Bayern Munich.
Do you have any sympathy with Coutinho's current situation?
Yes
No
The Bundesliga champions were in action versus Chelsea on Tuesday night and the 27-year-old was left on the substitutes’ bench, prompting these Liverpool fans to discuss what has happened to their former star.
He didn’t wanna hear what Klopp said so he has to suffer (still earns millions) in that regard ?

However, others were less willing to stick the metaphorical knife in on the former Anfield hero.
the year is 2050 and some Liverpool fans can’t stop talking about coutinho who left the club decades ago.

What do we think?
In our view, there should be no ill-feeling towards Coutinho. Signed from Inter for £11.7m, he gave the club approximately five years of excellent service before bringing in a profit of £118.8m (via Transfermarkt.co.uk) and we believe Liverpool are in far better shape as a result of that sale.
