Against all odds, Leicester City stunned the world by pulling off one of the biggest shocks in English football history and winning the Premier League title in the 2015/16 season under Claudio Ranieri.
That season produced a number of magical results but when did these supporters begin to believe that the Foxes could go on and achieve the unthinkable? Leicester’s official Twitter account recalled the day they beat Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, which took place four years ago this week, with Foxes fans more than happy to relive a memorable match in that astonishing campaign.
Did you start believe after the victory over Manchester City?
Yes

No

Yes, when the Mahrez goal went … I finally believed.

What do we think?
The victory at Manchester City on 6th February 2016 opened up a five-point gap between the Foxes and their closest competitors at the time. Robert Huth scored a brace that day and Riyad Mahrez’s step-over and finish ensured they left Eastlands with all three points.
It’s a result that will live long in the memories of the Leicester faithful and rightly so. Although some of the supporters may have started to believe prior, this was perhaps the day their rivals stood up and took notice.
