Is Duncan Ferguson considered an Everton legend?Yes, he definitely is after all he's doneNo, not quite yet but he nearly is |
The Scotsman played for the Toffees for 10 years between 1995 and 2006, spending a season and a half with Newcastle United in the middle, having arrived from Rangers before retiring at Goodison Park (per Transfermarkt).
Having moved into coaching, the 48-year-old was recently in caretaker charge of the Toffees following Marco Silva’s sacking, during which he oversaw an unbeaten record (per TalkSPORT), leaving fans keen to wax lyrical.

What do we think?
As many supporters have mentioned, it was a fantastic gesture from Ferguson to go and meet the fan during his day off (as per Toffee TV).
Due to his playing career, time in charge of the club in a caretaker capacity and the work that the Scotsman does in the community, it appears that the 48-year-old is nothing short of a legend in Merseyside.
