Phil Kirkbride of the Liverpool Echo has claimed that Everton are still looking for a fee of £20m for Cenk Tosun (11:39) in the summer despite the fact he has only scored 10 Premier League goals since he joined in January 2018 for £27m.

The 28-year-old only made five league appearances for Everton this season and has been sent out on loan to Crystal Palace, where he has managed to score one goal so far.

Will Everton get the fee they want for Tosun?

Answering in a live Q&A, Kirkbride said that Everton would like to get £20m for Tosun but might not be able to get that much for him. (11:39)

What do we think?

Considering the Toffees paid £27m for the 42-cap Turkish international just two years ago, he has not proved that he can be a regular goalscorer in the Premier League in that time, so it could be deemed a bit ambitious for the Toffees to want that much.

A lot could depend on how Tosun does while he is at Selhurst Park.

So far, he has scored one goal, which came in a 2-2 draw with Manchester City, and this goal and performance earned him an 8.24 rating from WhoScored.

Since then, the 28-year-old has played two matches for Palace but was ineligible for their recent trip to Goodison Park.

Palace are the lowest goalscorers in the league having only managed 23 all season – so if Tosun could change that, then maybe Everton could ask for the fee they want in the summer.

They will just have to hope that he plays well for the Eagles.
