Supporters of Everton have reacted to quotes from Yerry Mina which were relayed by the club’s official Twitter account.
On Thursday morning, the Toffees posted quotes from an interview with the Colombian centre-back, in which he lauded Carlo Ancelotti as a “top manager” (as per Everton), which some fans loved.
? | Since @MrAncelotti took over, we're second in the #PL form table.
And Yerry Mina is loving working with the boss! ?

Should Yerry Mina be one of the key players for Carlo Ancelotti to keep or move on?Keep, he's absolutely classMove on, there's better |
Since Ancelotti arrived in Merseyside, the Toffees have won four, drawn two and lost two in all competitions (as per BBC), leaving the club sat in ninth position in the Premier League table (as per BBC).
However, following a report by the Mirror which labelled the Toffees as ‘faltering’, some were a little more downbeat on what Mina had to say on the 60-year-old Italian.
Don’t shout about it though, you’ll upset the media!

What do we think?
As some of the supporters mentioned, it is great to hear a player speak about a manager in such high regard and will certainly fill the fans with confidence.
However, as for the Mirror article which has clearly rubbed some fans up the wrong way, it does seem bizarre that Everton were described as ‘faltering’ when they have won two and drawn two of their previous four league games (as per Sky Sports).
