Do you think that Ellis Simms could be a first-team player for Everton in the future?Yes, seems like he has potentialNo, doesn't seem to have it |
During this season, Simms has bagged a decent return of seven goals in 13 league appearances for Everton’s Under-23s, having also netted once in four EFL Trophy ties (as per Transfermarkt).
Following his latest brace in the Premier League Cup, fans were excited about the potential of the youngster and felt that he could have a big future at Goodison Park if handled correctly.
Gotta be knocking on the door now Simms. Superb for the 18s, now doing it for the 23s. Looks the part. Looked good in training with the 1sts too. Future is very bright

What do we think?
Judging from the response of Toffees fans, it seems as though many of the Goodison Park faithful have the 19-year-old earmarked for success.
As one supporter mentioned, a loan move for Simms next season could be important to build his confidence playing at a first-team level and that could be a positive next stage to his development.
