Fans of Everton have been left ecstatic following a club announcement on the club’s current partnership with SportPesa.

As revealed by the Toffees on Sunday, the Merseyside club will be ending their partnership with the gaming brand and will look to have a new main partner ahead of next season (as per Everton), which had many delighted.

Do you believe that the cancellation with SportPesa is a signal of a greater USM involvement?

Yes, we're going to be loaded

No, just a coincidence for now

The widespread delight came due to billionaire Alisher Usmanov signalling his intent to begin investing in the Toffees a couple of months ago (as per The Financial Times).

With many supporters believing that this was another avenue which Usmanov would be using to provide the club with funds, after already having a number of deals in place (per Everton), they were ecstatic that more money could be on its way to the Toffees.

What do we think?

After the deal which saw £30 million enter the club’s coffers for USM to have ‘an option on naming rights for the club’s new stadium’ (per Everton) another sizable wad could be on its way if USM is to be involved again.

Even if the deal with SportPesa being finished early is not a sign of more of Usmanov’s money being set to enter the club, it does not seem as though it will be all that long before there is, due to the Russian’s own admission (per The Financial Times).
