This week Crystal Palace’s loaned out Alexander Sorloth scored his 22nd goal of the season against Sivasspor.
According to @HLTCO, the Norwegian was the Man of the Match during the side’s 2-1 win. The account compares Sorloth’s 22 goals to Crystal Palace’s 23.
Many fans responded to the tweet with negativity, however. They don’t rate the Turkish League enough to consider his achievement noteworthy. They think the British Prime Minister could score that many goals in Turkey.
Just think about what league he’s in Boris Johnson could get 22 goals in that league

Yes, wow, amazing defense on display from those CBs too!

Is Alexander Sorloth good enough for Crystal Palace right now?
Yes
No
Others, however, think the club made a big mistake letting him leave. They wish that Palace had included a recall clause in the loan deal. Two fans mention that his off the ball movements are evident in the clip shared by @HLTCO.
our failure to include a recall clause and to instead give them a cheap buyout clause should cause the board to resign, for this alone

Say what they like about the standard of the league anyone with a footballing brain can see the way he timed that run is a player full of confidence and would bang them in any league.

I wish any of our strikers would have that sort of movement in the box

One fan doesn’t think Palace would be able to create adequate chances for the player, even if he was to come back to them.
We haven’t created a chance as good as this one this season, he wouldn’t have scored any here. Good luck to the lad.

What do we think?
With Crystal Palace clearly struggling to score goals at the moment, it is hard to believe that Sorloth could be worse than what Roy Hodgson has at his disposal right now. The side has scored just one goal in their last three matches, failing to pick up a single point.
