Aston Villa fans have been pleading their wishes for the club to give Callum O’Hare a new contract.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @Total_Villa shared a post on their page listing a number of Villa players and asking their followers which player they would give a new contract to.
The list included Matija Sarkic, Keinan Davis, Callum O’Hare, Andre Green, Rushian Hepburn-Murphy and Jake Doyle-Hayes.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans identifying O’Hare as a player that should be given a new contract at the Birmingham club.

O’Hare
The others won’t cut the mustard so why prolong it?

Keep ohare davis green.. others can go . We have a few coming through so we will always have some young local talent on the books but if they are not the quality we need then keeping them is unfair

The 21-year-old is currently on a season-long loan deal at League One side Coventry City. During his season at Coventry, O’Hare has made 34 appearances, scoring three goals and providing seven assists (per Transfermarkt). O’Hare’s contract at Villa Park runs out in May this year. Now that the question has been asked on Twitter, many Villa fans decided that O’Hare deserves to have another contract at the club.

O’Hare. Only one with any chance of breaking into the first team.

Keep O’Hare and Davis. Time for the others to move on.

What do we think?
It’s nice to see these Villa fans having the belief and confidence in O’Hare to warrant giving him a new contract at the Birmingham club. Whether the club will offer the attacking midfielder a new contract is yet to be seen. The main focus and hope for all parties now would be for O’Hare to finish his season at Coventry on a strong note before returning to Villa Park to discuss his immediate future.
