Aston Villa fans have been discussing on Twitter the latest transfer rumours surrounding club captain Jack Grealish.
This comes after Villa Twitter fan account @AVFC_News shared a post on their page that included an article from the Birmingham Mail, which relayed news originally published by The Sun that Real Madrid and Barcelona are eyeing up Grealish for a reported £60 million.
How much is Jack Grealish worth right now?
£50m-£100m
£100m+
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were keen to have their say on this latest development.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans reacting to this latest update:

It would take a much bigger offer than that to even start the bidding TBH. #AVFC

Try adding £100m to that then we’ll start talking

Grealish has been Villa’s star player so far this season. The Englishman has the most goals, assists, shots and passes of any Villa player so far this campaign (per Premier League). According to Transfermarkt, Grealish is currently valued at £31.5 million, and now that this latest report has surfaced quoting the two Spanish clubs’ interest at a figure of £60 million, it has sparked a huge discussion on Twitter among the Villa fans.
They can have his left leg for £60m and will need to come back with another £60m if they want his right leg too

Swap with Messi, looks like he wants to go ????

I’d rather see him go to one of those two than a team in the Premier League. He came to a walking football session at Villa Park a few years ago & we asked him a few questions. He said he’d like to play abroad at some point in his career.

What do we think?
It seems as though based on these replies, £60 million is quite far away from what the Villa fans think Grealish is worth. This goes to show how highly thought of the 24-year-old is at the club. Looking at Grealish’s statistics in the Premier League so far this season, this also proves how crucial he is to Dean Smith’s side.
