Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to respond to recent footage of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @In1982 shared a post on their page that included a video clip of Alli originally posted by @ShivaniOfficial of the Englishman reacting badly to being substituted off the pitch in Spurs Champions League defeat to RB Leipzig.
The caption to the post claimed that Jack Grealish would never react to being substituted in the same way Alli did.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were quick to share their thoughts on Alli’s reaction.

The footage shows Alli, who is currently valued at £81 million according to Transfermarkt, walking over to the substitutes bench before throwing his boots around as he took them off his feet. As this footage started to make the rounds on Twitter, some Villa fans started to compare Alli with their star man Grealish.

What do we think?
Looking back over the footage, it’s not clear the reasoning behind Alli’s tantrum on the bench. He could have been unhappy with the decision to bring him off or just be annoyed with his own performance in the match. But the replies from the footage just further proves how highly-regarded Grealish is to the Villa fans.
