A lot of Aston Villa fans have responded to a tweet from villareport talking about James Chester.
Football Insider have claimed that the Villains don’t intend to extend Chester’s contract beyond the end of the season.
Would you be disappointed to see Chester leave Villa?
Yes, he has done a lot for the club
No, we need better than him
The 31-year-old is currently on loan at Stoke City, but these Villa fans feel that this would be the wrong decision if they were to be relegated from the Premier League.
Aston Villa don’t intend to extend James Chester’s contract and will let him leave at the end of the season. [football insider] #avfc

What do we think?
Chester moved to Villa Park from West Bromwich Albion and has made 126 appearances for the club in that time.
However, last season he suffered a knee injury that ended his season and then in pre-season he suffered a hamstring injury that kept him out till December.
Chester was, therefore, desperate for first-team football and Dean Smith sanctioned his move to Stoke.
If the report in Football Insider is correct, then Chester may well have played his last match in a Villa shirt.
