Aston Villa fans have been responding on Twitter to the latest comments made by Jack Grealish.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page relaying comments made by the club captain to the Express & Star.
Grealish revealed that the only two things he has on his mind are to play for England and lift a trophy for Villa.
Which of these is more likely to happen?

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were delighted with this revelation.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans reacting to the post:
Jack Grealish: “I don’t think about negative stuff. I don’t think about relegation and I don’t think we are going to get relegated. I want to play for England and I want to lift a trophy for Aston Villa – those are the two things I have got on my mind.” [express & star] #avfc pic.twitter.com/m7XTQhaHMQ

He deserves teammates and a manager that are on his level. Going to be gutted when he goes but unless we stay up and are in Europe by winning next Sunday he will leave.

The 24-year-old has been Villa’s star performer this season with a total rating of 7.39, the highest of any Villa player so far this campaign (per WhoScored). In regards to these comments, Grealish has yet to be given his official debut for the England team. Also, Villa will be taking on Manchester City in the final of the Carabao Cup next weekend, which could give the Villa captain a chance to lift a trophy for his club should they prevail.
???????? @JackGrealish speaks so much sense even when we’ve been defeated. That is one of the main reasons I love this chap to bits. The part ‘I want to play for England’ got me though to be fair ?????????? he should have got his cap long ago but that’s just me. #UTV

What do we think?
It’s good to see that Grealish has aspirations for his career at an international level whilst staying faithful to his club and gunning for domestic success there too. His personal record so far this season gives him a good step for him to continue towards these goals he has outlined for himself and his team.
