Aston Villa fans have flocked to Twitter to respond to the latest post from goalkeeper Pepe Reina after their defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
This comes after the Spaniard shared a post on his official Twitter page after the 3-2 defeat to Jose Mourinho’s side on Sunday.
Was Pepe Reina Villa's best performer against Spurs?
Yes
No
The goalkeeper claimed that the result was “hard to accept” for himself and the team.
This post then gathered many replies from Villa fans who were quick to rally behind Reina and share their praise for his performance in the match.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans responding to Reina’s post:

The 37-year-old earned himself a man-of-the-match rating of 8.4, the highest of anyone on the pitch for either side (per WhoScored). The rating was given after Reina made seven successful saves in the match to deny the North-London club. After the Spaniard shared his disappointment with the result on Twitter, many Villa fans were quick to get behind their January signing for his solid performance.
Pepe you were immense today. ? Keep the boys positive, we played well.
