Stoke fans have been reacting to a Twitter post by Tyrese Campbell, in which the 20-year-old reflects on the Potters’ 4-2 defeat at QPR on Saturday.
The forward stated: “Gutted to have come away with nothing after taking the lead yesterday… Thank you to all the fans who travelled in this weather to support #SCFC.”
Campbell, who had scored the second goal for Stoke in the match, received thanks for his efforts in the post’s replies. However, fans were less pleased with the performances of the Stoke City defenders.

Not your fault mate, you were one of just a few that looked on it – keep plugging away!

defence was a shambles, attack was on point and should’ve won the game…

Such a shame for all the good work to be undone so cheaply by all the men at the back. Terrible. Well done for a really well taken goal.

Your goal and overall play was brilliant, hope the injury isn’t too bad and you’re available for the next one!

What do we think?
With Stoke sitting just three points above the relegation zone, Michael O’Neill needs to work on his leaky defence, and quickly.
Stoke’s 53 goals conceded ranks their defence as the third-worst tally in the league, and with only 13 games left of the season remaining, it is a leak that needs to be plugged before the ship sinks entirely.
