These West Brom fans discuss Rekeem Harper, as the 19-year-old is linked to Leeds United, Queens Park Rangers and Fulham according to The Sun on Sunday (print edition, page 65, January 19, 2020) (via HITC).
Harper has played once in the Championship for West Brom this season, so it’s clear that the 19-year-old could do with getting some regular game time.
However, some of these fans weren’t keen on the idea of Harper going to Leeds, with many of them feeling it would be stupid to strengthen a fellow promotion rival. West Brom are currently top of the Championship table, with the Whites in second.
Here are some of the comments from the West Brom fans on Twitter:

Leeds, Fulham and QPR are all interested in signing Rekeem Harper on loan this month.
However, the report notes that Bili? is keen to keep the teenager at the Hawthorns.
Harper has only played six minutes of Championship football this season…

Send him to qpr

Would make no sense to loan him to our promotion rivals like Fulham and Leeds

This is rubbish. Never going to happen

If goes out on loan and Bilic sanctions it then that’s OK, but not to a promotion rival. ??

Where should Rekeem Harper go?
QPR
Leeds United
Fulham
Despite Harper being just 19-years-old, the midfielder has an impressive Transfermarkt value of £2.25m. However, fans are pretty clear in their demands that he should not be allowed to join one of their promotion rivals temporarily.
Well we wouldn’t even consider Leeds and Fulham. QPR maybe as they seem a bit too far to catch us but they could use him to take points off other teams near us.

Sell him to qpr

What Do We Think?
With the current lack of game time Harper has had at West Brom this season, it’s no surprise that a loan move is being rumoured. We do feel that loaning him to a rival could prove to be costly, however, the experience for Harper will most likely be priceless.
