This week, Sunderland Football Club drew their match against Fleetwood in the EFL League One. The match ended 1-1 after both teams scored a penalty apiece. Sunderland’s Chris Maguire scored his team’s penalty in the 86th minute (Sky Sports).
But Sunderland fans we’re sceptical of the legitimacy behind Fleetwood’s penalty which was converted by Chad Evans in the 13th minute. The supporters questioned the ability of the referees in the division. They don’t think the penalty should have been awarded in the first place.

Do you think the penalty awarded to Fleetwood was wrong?
Yes
No
One fan calls the foul just a clash of heads. Another suggests that if that was a penalty then contact must be taken out of the sport altogether.
A clash of heads not apen!

If that’s a penalty might as well take contact out the game

What do we think?
The one positive for Sunderland fans is that a team have now gone unbeaten in four games (WhoScored.com). They would have hoped to have been winning much more consistently. In this instance though, they believed the referee had a big part to play in their defeat.
