Some Sheffield Wednesday fans have acted angrily at Fernando Forestieri’s potential return to action for the club’s first-team.
The Sheffield Star recently reported that Forestieri is nearing a return to the first-team after playing the first half of Wednesday’s Under-23s 3-2 defeat to Hull City at Middlewood Road on Friday.
Do you want Forestieri to be sold?
He's useless now
Keep him as back-up
The Sheffield Star relayed this news through their social media account and it got many Owls fans talking. The reaction to Forestieri’s potential return has been rather negative.

Wednesday had signed Forestieri from Watford in the summer of 2015 for an undisclosed fee, signing a four-year deal at the club.
Currently 30, the Argentine has made only ten appearances in all competitions this season. He has one goal and one assist to his name. His last appearance for the club came against Charlton back in late November, as he played 45 minutes of the clash.
Last season though, the forward was a regular for the club in the striker position. He made 27 appearances in all competitions, racking up six goals and also picking up one assist.
Since joining the club, Forestieri has made 125 appearances in all competitions for the club. He has a tally of 39 goals and a total of 17 assists.
What do we think?
Forestieri, who is valued at £1.35 million (as per Transfermarkt), is 30 and is far from a regular and his numbers show that. At 30, Wednesday will not find a better chance to sell him than now. It will help them recuperate some funds and sign a younger player to replace him.
