Great news if true, could have gone either way after being thrown in by His last year and then promptly dropped as soon as His left. However has improved massively this year and without doubt is the No1 at club

Dawson is a fantastic keeper for Wednesday. Yes he has made some errors but he gets up and has saved the team many many times. Youth is on his side with experience can be one of the best and could even be knocking on the international scene in time . Get him signed. Wawaw

Dawson is a product of the Sheffield Wednesday youth academy and has spent loan deals at clubs like Alfreton Town, Chesterfield and Wycombe Wanderers as well.
This season, the 24-year-old goalkeeper has made 16 appearances in all competitions for the Owls. He has managed to keep a total of eight clean sheets during this time, with six of them coming in the Championship.
Last season, Dawson had made 28 appearances in all competitions for the club. He didn’t play as much in the second half of the campaign but had played every minute of the club’s first 22 games of the Championship season.
What do we think?
The number of clean sheets Dawson has kept this season says a lot about how important he is for the club. He is still 24 and is yet to reach his peak at the club. He knows what the club is, having been there since he was young. Signing him to a new long-term deal could be invaluable for Garry Monk’s men.
