Sheffield Wednesday were beaten by Wigan Athletic on Tuesday night despite having taken the lead through Jacob Murphy after 32 minutes.
The Latics struck twice in the second half to claim all three points leaving Garry Monk’s side with just one league win in their last six outings. The result sees the Owls drop down to seventh position and gives their hopes of reaching the play-offs a blow.
Defender Morgan Fox was replaced by Tom Lees shortly after the break and the 29-year-old has come in for criticism from the fans following his introduction – with many attributing the defeat solely to the Sheffield Wednesday defender.
Is it time to move Tom Lees on?

What do we think?
The defeat comes as a huge blow to the Owls who you think would have hoped they could have taken confidence from their victory over Queens Park Rangers in the FA Cup on Friday night. Tom Lees is certainly not a popular man with the Sheffield Wednesday faithful at the moment judging by the reactions above and you can see why given the fact that he received a rating of 6.05 (as per WhoScored).
Monk’s side will take on Millwall at the weekend desperately in need of three points to keep their play-off hopes alive.
