Rangers fans were left shocked this weekend as they saw their team drop three points against Hearts. A win would have helped Rangers put pressure on their first-place rivals. But the side was unable to make a serious impact on the game, recording just two shots on target throughout the entire match.
Rangers fans admitted that they missed Alfredo Morelos during the match. He hasn’t been involved in competitive Rangers play since the side’s Old Firm win on December 29, 2019. They clearly think his absence is having a serious impact on the team.

Would Alfredo Morelos have won Rangers the game against Hearts?
No
Yes
Others think there is a serious lack of depth in the team, especially in the forward position. Jermain Defoe can’t run the forward line the same way as the Colombian.
Shouting “SG needs to take the blame”, or “SG will never win us a league” is the easy way out! Alfredo Morelos not being able to play in multiple games has cost us dearly again! However…
IT IS NOT OVER!

Problem is Defoe is not capable of playing the Morelos role that’s not a criticism of him it’s just not his game Through out most of his career he’s probably had a strike partner. We need a striker who can play the lone striker role incase Of injuries are suspension for Morelos.

What do we think?
If Morelos was present during the match, things could have gone differently. At the end of the day, however, Steven Gerrard will have to convince his team to put this match out of their minds and focus solely on Wednesday’s trip to Ross County.
