These QPR fans were fuming after Seny Dieng’s loan deal with Doncaster Rovers has been extended.

According to QPR’s official website: “The 25-year-old goalkeeper will now remain with the League One outfit on loan until the end of the season.”

Dieng has played 14 matches in League One this season and has managed to keep four clean sheets in these outings. The 25-year-old has also had three appearances in the FA Cup for Doncaster Rovers this season.

Here’s what the QPR fans had to say about the Superhoops’ latest January transfer window announcement on Twitter:

Who is the better option in goal?

The 25-year-old has started 67% of Doncaster’s matches, so at least Dieng is getting a good amount of game time whilst on loan. However, it appears many of the QPR faithful were not too happy with someone they deem better than Joe Lumley having their time away from the club extended.

What Do We Think?

If Seny Dieng is going to continue getting solid game time, having played in 67% of all of Doncaster Rovers’ minutes in the league so far, then we see no massive harm in letting him gain confidence in League One. The 25-year-old has also only conceded 16 goals in 14 matches, that’s an impressive tally for the on-loan Zurich born keeper.
