Britt Assombalonga is a target for Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United, according to a report by the Mirror.
After Eddie Nketiah returned to Arsenal it’s understood that the promotion hopefuls are on the hunt for a new striker with the Boro man reportedly having caught their eye.
In light of the reports, these fans have called on the club to try and negotiate a swap-deal involving their former striker Patrick Bamford.
Would you swap Assombalonga for Bamford?

Others however, weren’t so keen on the idea of Assombalonga joining Leeds.
Britt is a good player on his day when his confidence is high would rather keep him than watch him go score for fun at Leeds

No chance don’t

Need him to stay at Boro! Will score a bag full when he’s back in the side alongside fletch with Roberts feeding them.

What do we think?
Assombalonga signed for Middlesbrough from Nottingham Forest in July 2017 for a fee of £15.4m (via Transfermarkt.co.uk). Since his arrival, the 27-year-old has scored 37 goals in 114 appearances and is now valued at £9m.
Since the start of this season, he’s only started 66% of the clubs Championship fixtures, scoring just six goals this season. The striker hasn’t featured for Jonathan Woodgate’s side since the 1-0 win over Charlton back in early December and so if there’s a decent offer on the table, you can understand why the club may be willing to move him on.
