Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react to the latest transfer rumour surrounding Sadio Mane.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldEdition shared a post on their page relaying news originally published by Le10Sport that Real Madrid have “made contact” with the agents of Sadio Mane over a potential transfer.
Will Sadio Mane move to Real Madrid this year?
Yes
No
This post then gathered many replies from Liverpool fans who were not convinced by the rumour.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans reacting to this latest transfer rumour:
Champions league winners about to win the EPL. I don’t see this one happening to be honest. Not even August

Would normally be worried by the big Spanish clubs but no body wants to leave lfc in our current situation. We have surpassed them.

Madrid tapping up again? Trying to unsettle players of other club hmmm seen this story before!!!!

The post also claims that Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane wants to line Mane up alongside Eden Hazard and Karim Benzema after selling Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez to make up the funds for Mane.
This rumour got a lot of Liverpool fans talking on Twitter over their star man.
Not happening. Klopp’s taken us to the point where this would be a sideways move at best. It’d take ridiculous money (200m+) to even make us consider an offer.
— Kenny (@KennyLFC) January 1, 2020
That is nonsense
— @Bashin Liverpool (@BashinLiverpool) January 1, 2020
Why would he leave
— James Coward (@JCLFC30) January 1, 2020

— Marty McAllister (@martymcalliste1) January 1, 2020

What do we think?
Given that Liverpool are reigning European champions and currently hunting down their first-ever Premier League title, a January exit for Mane seems very unlikely. But maybe the lure of Real Madrid could persuade the winger, who is currently valued at £135 million according to TransferMarkt, to make the move in summer.
