These Leeds United fans discuss Eunan O’Kane’s departure after the 29-year-old has signed an 18-month deal with Luton Town.
Leeds announced O’Kane’s departure on their website, with the 29-year-old joining Luton on an 18-month contract. Phil Hay later relayed this news to these Leeds fans on Twitter.
O’Kane has played 120 matches for Torquay United, which is a lot more than the 58 games he’s played for the Peacocks (Transfermarkt).
Here are some of the comments from the Leeds fans on Twitter:

We always have the red card against Ipswich to remember him by.

Good luck to him. Used to see him in the gym working hard to get back after leg break. A decent bloke!

Do you know who O'Kane is?
Yes
No
The 29-year-old has played more matches with Torquay and Bournemouth than he has for Leeds, so it’s no real surprise that these Peacocks supporters aren’t too upset (Transfermarkt).
Hope he does well but not against Leeds.

What Do We Think?
It’s not like O’Kane rarely showed his face for Leeds, the 29-year-old did play over 50 times for Marcelo Bielsa’s side. However, consider his age, it’s probably best for his career that the Irishman goes to Luton where he might be able to get some regular game time.
