Leeds United winger Jack Harrison has received an extraordinary letter from a QPR fan following the meeting between the two clubs last weekend. Although Marcelo Bielsa’s side suffered a defeat, Harrison has been praised for the way he conducted himself and the fact he ‘did not exaggerate’ injuries – something that has, perhaps, become extremely prevalent in the modern game.
The letter was shared by the club via their official Twitter account and the Leeds fans have taken to social media to praise the Manchester City loanee.

What do we think?
It’s always great to come across football fans who are able to put the tribalism to one side and praise an opponent. Simulation and the exaggeration of injuries is one of the dark-arts we see far too often in our beautiful game so credit to Harrison and the QPR fan who made a point of recognising his honesty.
The 23-year-old has made 28 league appearances for Bielsa’s side this season, starting every single fixture and contributing by scoring five goals and providing six assists. He’s been a vital player in the Argentinian coach’s set-up as they look to secure promotion to the Premier League for the first time since they were relegated in 2004.
