A lot of Leeds United fans want the cub to use Ryan Edmondson as a replacement for Eddie Nketiah and continue with Patrick Bamford as the first-choice striker.
This is after Marcelo Bielsa admitted that it would be difficult for Leeds to convince any striker to join the club, knowing that Bamford is the established striker.
Would you be happy if Leeds replaced Nketiah with Edmondson?
Yes, the lad deserves a chance
No, need a proven striker
This has worried some Leeds supporters who think that it is time for Bielsa to use the 18-year-old.
Interesting from Bielsa – conceded that it will be tough to tempt strikers in given how established Bamford is. Says the club will need to be clever with what they do in the market. Also said Nketiah deserved to start tonight on the basis of recent performances.

Better to bring Edmunson into first team and go for a CB who can attack a ball

Give the reserves a go. Edmondson deserves a place on bench.

Need someone more physical than Eddie imo. Edmundson could be the best option as he already knows the Bielsa way.

Edmondson?

I wouldn’t be too upset if we did replace him, Roberts coming back from long injury, Edmondson has proven himself at u23 level so we’ve got back up, the problem will be if Paddy is out for a few weeks..

What do we think?
Bielsa confirmed that Nketiah was going back to Arsenal after the Whites’ 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion.
The Argentine seemed disappointed that he was losing Nketiah, who he claimed he wanted to keep.
However, Bamford is clearly Bielsa’s preferred striker, and the former Middlesbrough man is in good form this season with ten goals and two assists.
Whoever comes in to replace Nketiah must, therefore, be prepared to fight for their place –which is why Edmondson could be a good option for the rest of the season.
The 18-year-old is raw but could be happy to play as backup to Bamford, and it would also be a popular move with many Leeds fans.
