A lot of Leeds United fans have criticised Eddie Nketiah for his last performance in a Leeds shirt and reacted to him waving goodbye to the Whites fans.
The 20-year-old started against West Bromwich Albion, but he struggled to make an impact against Kyle Bartley and Semi Ajayi – who dominated until Patrick Bamford replaced him.
Was Nketiah overall a good loan for Leeds?
Yes, he scored some important goals
No, he started well but faded
After the game, it was confirmed by Marcelo Bielsa that Nketiah would be returning to Arsenal.
Nketiah, at the end of the game, went over to the away end and said his goodbyes but received a lot of criticism from some Whites supporters on Twitter who are happy to see the back of him.

Bye then ??
Edmundson and Kun will offer more ??— JAY ???? (@jasoneaton80) January 1, 2020
Doesnt fit our system at all. Obvious over the past two games. His work rate and hold up isn’t nearly what we need. In saying that he’ll probably bag a stack for Bristol City.

Off with him, no loss!

Good, let’s move on, get in a replacement who wants to be at the club

He looked like he had already left the last 2x games he has started

What do we think?
Nketiah, who is valued at £7.2m by Transfermarkt, made a stunning initial impact at Elland Road with five goals in his first 11 games.
This is harsh on Nketiah as he is still only a young lad who scored some vital goals for Leeds.
Yes, his form faded away towards the end of his loan, but the contribution he made at the beginning should not just be forgotten about.
Nketiah is likely to go back out on loan to another Championship club, and Leeds will have to hope that he does not join a promotion rival.
