A lot of Leeds United fans are furious at footage from their 1-0 defeat to Arsenal that shows Alexandre Lacazette kick Gaetano Berardi off the ball.
Was Lacazette lucky to be not sent off?
Yes, clear kick out at Berardi
No, but should have received a yellow card
The incident was looked at by VAR, but no punishment was handed to the Arsenal striker, and this infuriated many Leeds supporters who could not believe that the Frenchman was not sent off.
Apparently not violent conduct!!!

I would like to see the view of @HACKETTREF tomorrow and also the ref view on @SkySports because there should be no way that this can be condoned, Even BBC said acting
Also interesting hear view of All the fouls that Arsenal got away with and the backpass on 73′ Ars GK picked up

And this isn’t bookable by the ref ????? yet Klich was a yellow ? didn’t expect to win tbh but this should be dealt with regardless too many incompetent refs atm #MOT

100% Red card if it was Beradi kicking out. Absolute joke all night the ref. Still we don’t need a cup run. See you next season ??

Thought you’ve been bang on with your VAR tweets @GaryLineker so please tell me why is this not a red card ? I’m struggling to see why it isn’t

What do we think?
This was an act of petulance from Lacazette, and it should have ended in a red card for the Gunners man.
Heung-min Son was sent off for exactly the same only a few weeks ago, so why wasn’t Lacazette also sent off?
Berardi did not make the most of the kick, which may have saved Lacazette, but VAR should have punished the former Lyon man.
Anthony Taylor was also right behind the incident but failed to show the red card.
Leeds played well against Arsenal, and they can feel hard done by that Lacazette was not sent off at a pivotal moment in the game.
