A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to Liam Cooper’s latest tweet in which he claims he has apologised to a ball boy from the Fulham match for using bad language as he tried to retrieve the ball as the Whites were pursuing an equaliser.
The FA have warned Cooper about this, and he has responded by sending the boy a signed shirt, a pair of boots, and a written apology.
Is Cooper setting a good example as Leeds captain?
Yes, this was an honourable thing to do
No, shouldn't have done it in the first place
This incident has received a mixed reaction from many Leeds fans.
Some think it is very kind of Cooper to have apologised and sent gifts.

Passion can get you caught up in a moment. However to put your hand up and admit you are wrong is just exactly what we expect from our skipper.
Keep working hard skip.

What do we think?
It seems that the 28-year-old, who is valued at £5.4 million (as per Transfermarkt), got caught up in the moment, and he had no intention of causing any harm.
However, as the captain of Leeds United, he does have to be a role model for young fans of the club, and by apologising and sending gifts, he is showing the right attitude in how to deal with an incident like this.
Cooper was not the first player to swear at a ball boy, but he has responded in a very mature way, and for that, he deserves credit.
