Fulham boss Scott Parker told the club’s website his team showed “unbelievable personality and bravery” versus Manchester City. The Cottagers suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of the Premier League champions and were eliminated from this season’s FA Cup.
What was already a difficult task became a near-impossible one after the Londoners were reduced to ten men following Tim Ream’s early red card.
Whilst Parker was full of praise for his group and the spirit they showed, the fans don’t see eye to eye with their former midfielder.

What do we think?
To be able to find any positive in such a heavy defeat is a skill in itself. You can understand why the manager’s comments took the supporters by surprise; they will have no doubt been disappointed by what they saw – particularly those who made the long trip up to Manchester.
However, it’s not all doom and gloom for Fulham as they are still in with a real shout of securing an automatic promotion spot. The club currently occupy second place in the Championship and the recent form of both West Bromwich Albion and Leeds United will have no doubt given the Cottagers encouragement as they look to find a way back into the Premier League.
