Some Celtic fans have made it clear that they want a Twitter post about Odsonne Edouard taken down as soon as possible.
The French striker was on the scoresheet for the Hoops recently, grabbing a brace in the club’s 3-0 win over Ross County in the Premiership. The former Paris Saint-Germain man also got a goal in the club’s 3-1 win over Kilmarnock in the Premiership last week.
Is Edouard better than Dembele?
Moussa was much better!
Edouard is better
The Hoops’ Twitter handle recently posted a video hailing Edouard. But fans were not happy with it since it would make other clubs aware of their striker’s talent.

Edouard has been the club’s first-choice striker this season, having made 34 appearances in all competitions for the club. He has racked up a tally of 19 goals, racking up as many as 15 assists for them as well. In the Premiership, he has played 19 games only and has 15 goals to his name.
Last season was also an impressive one for the striker. He made 52 appearances in all competitions, scoring 22 times and racking up eight assists as well too. In the Premiership, he played 28 games and racking up 14 goals, getting six assists too.
He had joined the club in the summer of 2018 after spending the 2017-18 season on a loan deal from PSG. He signed permanently for a fee of £9 million.
What do we think?
Edouard’s numbers show that Celtic really have to protect him and the Hoops fans surely know that, judging from their comments. The fact that he has been scoring regularly for two years shows that he’s been one of their most important players during this period.
