Some Celtic fans are raving about the latest Twitter post of former player Paddy McCourt, who had retweeted a video about him.
A video of McCourt scoring against Hearts back in 2011 went viral recently. The club had beaten Hearts 4-0, with McCourt scoring one goal and Anthony Stokes grabbing a brace too. James Forrest also got a goal for himself in that game.
Was McCourt Celtic's best player in history?
He's nowhere close!
He is one of the best!
McCourt used his Twitter account to quote the video and many Hoops fans raved about it. They hailed their former player.

And it’s an absolute pleasure to say I saw the great Paddy McCourt play for Celtic. What a man.

Celtic had signed McCourt in the summer of 2008 from Derry City. The Northern Ireland man had played for the likes of Barnsley, Brighton, Notts County and Rochdale too.
During his time at Parkhead, McCourt made 88 appearances in all competitions for the club. He also picked up ten goals, racking up as many as nine assists for them.
McCourt’s most productive season at Celtic came in the 2010-11 season. He made 25 appearances in all competitions, scoring seven times and also racking up three assists.
He left Celtic in the summer of 2013 to join Barnsley on what Transfermarkt state was a free transfer.
What do we think?
If McCourt had played more games for the Hoops, his influence would have been even more than it is. And he deserves every bit of the credit that Celtic fans give him. He won two Scottish Premiership titles, winning two Scottish Cups.
