Some Celtic fans have been left heartbroken after the club’s Twitter handle posted a video of Scott Sinclair and the best memories involving the Englishman.
Sinclair has now completed his move to Championship side Preston North End, as he has now penned a two-and-half-year deal at Deepdale. His contract at Parkhead was running out in the summer of 2020, but he has already sealed the permanent move six months before it ended.
Celtic fans: Are you sad that Sinclair has left?
Holding tears back
Got to move on
The winger had left the club’s mid-season training in Dubai on Tuesday to fly back to England to complete a move.
The Hoops’ Twitter account posted a video of Sinclair’s best moments from his time at the Bhoys. And this has left many Celtic fans emotional about the 30-year-old’s exit.
If you’re trying to make me cry, you’ve succeeded.

The Hoops had signed Sinclair from the then Championship side Aston Villa in the summer of 2016 however a fee was not mentioned at the time. He had previously plied his trade with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Swansea City too.
This season, he had fallen out of favour under Neil Lennon. He made only seven appearances in all competitions, scoring twice during this time. Only two have been Premiership appearances, but his goals came in the League and in the Champions League qualifying stages.
Last season, Sinclair was in impressive form for the Bhoys. He played a total of 55 games in all competitions and picked up a tally of 17 goals and seven assists for the club.
In total, Sinclair made as many as 167 appearances in all competitions for the club. He scored 62 times and got 34 assists. That is the highest number of appearances for a single club in his career and the most number of goal contributions too.
What do we think?
Sinclair’s numbers clearly show how much of an impact he left at the club during his time. While he did fall out of favour in recent times, that shouldn’t be a reason for anyone to believe that he didn’t make an impact.
