Some Celtic fans have been left to rave a video involving Odsonne Edouard’s goal for the club against Kilmarnock in the Premiership on Wednesday.
The Hoops came back to winning ways in the Premiership, after their disappointing 2-1 defeat in the Old Firm derby towards the end of 2019. Goals from Edouard, Leigh Griffiths and defender Christopher Jullien proved enough for the club to pick up all three points.

A Hoops-related fan page called ‘Tam sellics son II’ posted a video of Edouard’s goal on Twitter. And many Celtic fans are raving about the goal and Edouard’s skill to score it.

Edouard has been the club’s regular striker in Neil Lennon’s 4-2-3-1 shape this season. The Frenchman has made 33 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops, scoring 17 times and racking up a tally of 15 assists as well.
There is every chance he overcomes his tally from last season. In the 2018-19 campaign, Edouard made 52 appearances in all competitions for the club. He contributed to 30 goals, with 22 of them being goals and eight being assists.
Edouard is currently Celtic’s most expensive signing in history. He came to the club from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2018 for a fee of £9 million. He had come to the club after the exit of fellow French striker Moussa Dembele to Lyon.
What do we think?
It was a silky piece fo skill from Edouard to get that goal. But it shows how he has grown in stature over the last two seasons and how important he is to the club. If he can keep coming up with performances and skills like those, Celtic will be closer to winning the Premiership title once again.
