Some Celtic fans have been hailing the performance of left-back Greg Taylor after the club’s 3-0 win over St. Johnstone in the Premiership recently.
The Hoops kept their five-point lead at the top of the table, thanks to goals from Olivier Ntcham, James Forrest and Leigh Griffiths.
Is Taylor better than Bolingoli?
Bolingoli is better
Taylor is miles better
The Hoops’ game saw Taylor start at left-back. Indeed, many Hoops fans were left delighted by his performance and want him to play more often on a regular basis.
He’s a grafter!
My mate taught him at high school. Knew from an early age he wanted to be a footballer. He trained so much, that he was told to stop. The boy is an athlete and dedicated, never hides.— Mick (@mickde1967) January 29, 2020

Taylor, who is valued at £1.13 million (as per Transfermarkt), had joined Celtic from fellow Premiership side Kilmarnock in the summer of 2019 when he signed a four-year deal at Parkhead. His exit had come in the light of Kieran Tierney’s move to Arsenal at around the same time.
So far this season, Taylor has made 12 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops. The start against St. Johnstone on Wednesday was his first appearance in the Premiership since he started against Hamilton back in early December. He had started in the club’s win over Partick Thistle in the Scottish Cup recently.
This is in stark contrast to last season when Taylor was a regular for the Killies at left-back. He made 41 appearances in all competitions for the club, scoring once and racking up four assists as well.
What do we think?
The fact that Taylor hasn’t played enough is a disappointment, considering he was a regular for Kilmarnock last season. And this could be the right time for him to get football in the first-team on a consistent basis.
