Some Celtic fans have expressed some anger at the club’s links with young Paris Saint-Germain man Moussa Sissako in the ongoing January transfer window.
Reports from the Daily Mail had claimed that Celtic see Sissako as an option for the winter and he is one of the names of the shortlist. But reports in France have updated fans on the news and RMC Sport journalist Loic Tanzi has confirmed that Celtic are interested in the defender.
Tanzi has also said that Dutch side Utrecht are also interested, with the player likely to leave the club soon. He is very much set for a release from the Ligue 1 giants.
Celtic fans: Do you want Sissako at Parkhead?
Hendry is better
Sissako will be good, trust Lennon
This transfer news hasn’t left too many Celtic fans pleased and they don’t want Sissako at the club, with many leaving their frustrations felt as Everything Celtic relayed the information on Twitter, with one mentioning how Marian Shved continues to be frozen out.
He can keep Shved company watching the games on Celtic TV from the Lennoxtown canteen.

Sissako is a centre-back by trade and like Odsonne Edouard, he has climbed up the pecking order at Paris Saint-Germain and is currently a part of the club’s Under-19s side. His current deal at the club expires in the summer of 2021.
He has played for the club at the Under-19s level since the 2017-18 season when he played regularly in the UEFA Youth League. He was a regular that season, having played nine games in the campaign till now and also helped them qualify for the group stages. But he saw his side get knocked out in the Round of the 16 of the competition to the Barcelona Under-19s side.
What do we think?
Sissako, being a centre-back by trade, would be a very good and cheap option in that position. Jack Hendry could well move away from the club in January and that would allow Sissako to come in and get some first-team football for a Europa League-based side. Like Edouard, he could also prove to be a very good bargain and reap the club rewards in the future.
