This week it was announced that Agus Medina would be leaving Birmingham City on loan until the end of the season. The player will be making the move to UE Cornella. Medina struggled to make his way into the Blues’ first-team in his first half a season at the club, only making two appearances. Those appearances came against Portsmouth and Bristol City.
At the end of the day, the player’s presence in the team will hardly be missed. But upon hearing the news, these fans claimed that he will always be remembered for his performance against Portsmouth. We can’t be sure if these comments are sprinkled with a hint of sarcasm though, as one fan claims the player could barely cross a ball into the box when placed on corner duty during the team’s 3-0 loss.
Can’t believe this, looked like such a quality player. Speed, agility and a thunderous right foot, his performance at Portsmouth will live long in the memory.

Gave his all for the club, passion, sweat and tears, deserves a statue for everything he’s done.. them corners at Pompey that couldn’t beat the first man were something special and were an honour to watch.

Do you wish Medina had more chances to play in a Birmingham City shirt?
Yes
No
Others continued the joke, claiming that the player will go down as a club legend for his one and a half appearances in a Blues’ shirt.
Arguably a club legend, will be missed.

What do we think?
It is good to see that the Birmingham City fans have a good sense of humour regarding their player’s dismissal. But perhaps this could be a door opening for Pep Clotet to sign some news players as he looks to guide his team above the threat of relegation.
