It was Birmingham City’s first back-to-back wins since mid-October when the Blues bested Luton Town. The game was massive, considering both teams are fighting a relegation battle. Of course, after the win, Birmingham City are sitting much more comfortably than Luton Town. The manager, Pep Clotet, share this sentiment.

“It felt like a six-pointer of a match because it puts a bigger gap between us and the relegation spots and set us back on track,” said the Spaniard after the game (Birmingham City).

The win does widen the gap between the Blues and relegation, however, many fans were unimpressed with Clotet’s attitude. They don’t think Birmingham City should even be in a position where they have to claw back points to stay in the league.

One fan questions whether the board think Clotet is doing a good enough job. He implores them to have more ambition.

What do we think?

Even after winning two games in a row, Birmingham City fans aren’t laying off Clotet and the board. They want a more consistent run of performances. It just so happens that the supporters don’t trust Clotet to be the man to achieve this.
