Aston Villa fans have been calling for Olivier Giroud to sign in the January transfer window.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page relaying information originally published by Gregg Evans that Giroud is Villa’s “main target” this month.

The 33-year-old is currently valued at £8.1 million according to TransferMarkt and has only made five Premier League appearances so far this season (per TransferMarkt).
Despite not having much game time under his belt this season, some Villa fans on Twitter still want Giroud to make the move to Villa Park this month.

What do we think?
If Villa do sign Giroud this month, he would be a great replacement for the injured Wesley. After making a total of 225 Premier League appearances since 2012 (per TransferMarkt), the striker certainly has bags of top-level experience in him, which could be useful for this Villa side as they fight to avoid relegation, as well as 78 goals in the Premier League up until this point in his career.
