A star in the making?

The Express (via The Scottish Sun) have previously said that Davidson has seen many Premier League clubs come after him. This includes Southampton, Leicester, West Ham and even Newcastle United.

He is known to be a player with impressive technical ability and can play in any attacking position across the front three. Celtic were said to have been ‘blown away’ by the youngster’s technical ability when they had scouted him back in October.

TIF Tactics

Celtic currently have a good batch of youngsters in the side already. Karamoko Dembele is rising up the ranks, with Mikey Johnston having made a total of 18 appearances for the club’s first-team so far. Young Scott Robertson also made his debut for the club in the Europa League recently.

It shows that the club has a very good bunch of youngsters already. But having said that, Davidson seems like a talent in himself too. The fact that so many clubs were in the chase for him shows that. The Hoops have a reputation for breeding homegrown players like Callum McGregor, James Forrest and many others. Davidson could be a similar player in the future.
