Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers are gutted over the potential, impending departure of Patrick Cutrone.
Reports over a potential departure for the 22-year-old Italian have been growing in recent days and following a Twitter post from Joe Edwards, which explained a little around the situation, Wolves fans showed their disappointment.
Penned a bit on Cutrone for tomorrow’s debrief. A shame how things have gone, but he hasn’t settled. If he can find a club in his homeland and Wolves find replacement, that’s best for all parties. Nothing set in stone yet and he could stay, but that would suit everyone. #wwfc

Gutted for him as I think he really tried his best but moving away at such a young age is tough. I moved to the U.K. at 22, on my own, spoke very good English already and yet I found it tough. I hope he can find his feet, he seems like a nice guy

Loved his passion for the club like against West Ham when he scored and how much he wanted a goal against besiktas

Should Wolves get rid of Patrick Cutrone permanently in January?Yes, just not worked outNo, he still has potential |
Interestingly, the attacker has been linked (as per Sport Italia) with a move to Fiorentina.
During his short stay at Molineux so far, Cutrone has featured in 860 minutes of action, in all competitions, across 24 outings in which he has scored three goals and assisted four (per Transfermarkt).
With an average rating of 6.32/10, it is clear that the young striker has not quite made the desired impact in the midlands, however, fans were still disappointed that things had not worked out.
Looks an exiting prospect and can only wish him well on what ever happens, @wolves faithful took to him straight away, #Bully said he reminds him of himself in his early raw years &

Such a shame, deserved more game time with jiminez looking knackered in some games, the ability is there, good luck to him

What do we think?
With his limited game time leaving Cutrone to survive of crumbs in substitute appearances, it is clear that it is just not working out for the 22-year-old at Molineux, perhaps a move away and a fresh start would be best for all involved.
