At the time of writing this, supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers have reacted to the news that the Old Gold has entered into the race to sign Gedson Fernandes.
According to Record, as cited by Sport Witness, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have made a ‘formal offer’ for the Benfica winger (via Talking Wolves), though it has been rejected, which had many fans reacting.
Although, it has been reported since that West Ham have agreed a loan deal in principle, but David Moyes didn’t confirm the news when asked in his press conference, so it remains to be seen.

Do you believe there to be any truth in Wolves signing Gedson Fernandes?Yes, entirely possibleNo, sadly not happening |
However, with other Premier League clubs interested in the Portuguese 21-year-old (via Sky Sports), they felt that it was too little, too late from the Molineux club.
As if we’ve just entered when he was over there was 4/5 prem clubs he meet. One obviously West Ham another Utd Chelsea from the bid yesterday that makes 1/2 names still which I believe we are one of them

A week to late

Other fans then felt there were more reasons why the move for the man who has scored no goals and assisted once in 13 games for the Liga NOS outfit (per Transfermarkt) would not come off, or even if that is who they should be targetting.
He wants a London club

What do we think?
With this kind of thing, it is best to take anything with a pinch of salt until it has some form of confirmation from the club.
While the move for Fernandes, who is valued at £13.5 million (as per Transfermarkt), is entirely possible, it is all certainly very much still up in the air as of yet.
