Fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers have reacted to the club’s official announcement that Jesus Vallejo has left the Old Gold.
As announced by the club on Friday morning, the Spaniard has joined La Liga club, Granada CF, on a ‘sub-loan’ from Nuno Espirito Santo’s side (as per Wolves), which had supporters wishing him the best of luck.
Jesus Vallejo will spend the rest of the season on loan at @GranadaCdeF.
All the best for the future, Jesus!

Do Wolves now need to sign another backup centre-back following Jesus Vallejo's departure?Yes, we look a bit thin thereNo, we have enough cover |
During his loan stay at Molineux, the 23-year-old defender made just seven appearances in all competitions, during which he picked up three yellow cards (as per Transfermarkt).
With a 6.46/10 average rating for those appearances leaving a lot to be desired (per WhoScored), some other supporters slated his ability and were happy to see that back of the Real Madrid man.
Appeared to be a really nice guy but a bit of a bambi caught in headlights. When he gets the right environment he could blossom. Not Real Madrid material I would have thought.

I thought he’d be good but he was shocking against Chelsea. How he’s a Madrid player I’ll never know.

What do we think?
As many supporters have mentioned, judging from his low average rating in the few appearances that he made for Wolves, Vallejo was just no cut out for the Old Gold just yet.
Hopefully, with the loan move back to his home country, the 23-year-old centre-back can get his career back on track and resume his progression.
